I help adult learners achieve their English goals for professional, academic, or personal reasons.

I have more than 15 years of experience helping adults speak English with confidence and ease. I also bring extensive international experience, as well as skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and sales.

A Brief History

After graduating from the University of London and qualifying as a lawyer, I spent seven years living in the USA, working mainly as the manager of a department in a fast-growing start-up company.

After returning to the UK, I built on my legal experience, working as the legal adviser for an international IT consultancy, which provided me with further experience working in an international environment and different cultures.

I also have real business experience, having worked in real estate sales and been a partner/owner of a successful real estate company in southern Spain.

I am a qualified teacher with three internationally recognized teaching certificates: CELTA, TEFL, and TEFL for Business English. I have lived and taught English in several countries around the world. During the past 15 years I have taught more than 13,000 students from over 30 countries.

The students that I have taught have been almost all adults and from almost every profession, including engineers, project managers, doctors, lawyers, business owners, software developers, and even one or two celebrities.

In addition, I have also trained hundreds of students to become English teachers.

Since 2018, I have mainly taught online. My lessons focus on both accuracy and fluency, helping Business English learners communicate clearly and effectively.

I know that learning English can be challenging, and it takes hard work and consistency. I believe that anyone can learn English with the right attitude and a supportive teacher.
